Harvest Green’s natural, GREENGUARD gold-certified mattresses are constructed using GOLS certified organic latex, GOTS organic certified wool, GOTS organic certified cotton, and up to 1,089 pocketed posterized support coils. Their construction eliminates the need for unnecessary chemical adhesives, fire retardants, or fiberglass.

Organic Latex
Harvest Green Mattresses only use natural GOLS Certified organic latex rubber foam, derived directly from a sustainably harvested source. Their latex is also certified by ECO-Institut as well as OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as; allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers. With a high-performance rate and long-lasting durability, this material also can regulate temperature better as well. These performance attributes are extraordinary and far exceed everyday petroleum-based polyurethane foams and memory foams.
Organic Wool
Harvest Green’s GOTS certified Organic Wool works in conjunction with their organic latex to control temperatures. Wool is unlike any other material as it has inherent properties making it a natural fire barrier, naturally antimicrobial, and resistant to dust mites. Their wool is also certified by OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as; allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers.
Organic Cotton
Harvest Green’s GOTS certified organic cotton is the most breathable, coolest, softest materials available. It also naturally wicks away moisture. This is why it passes the most stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification. All of these attributes make Harvest Green’s top covers luxurious and one of the best sleep surfaces available. Harvest Green’s Cotton is also certified by OKEO-TEX to have no harmful substances such as allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers.
Harvest Green Pillow Top
For an ultra-luxurious, softer, deeper feel Harvest Green’s Pillow Top option offers an additional 2-inch layer of natural organic Latex. This will bring the total overall finished size to 13-inches in thickness. This extra 2-inches (Overall total of 5 inches) of organic natural latex provides additional pressure relief for a deeper feel. This option is preferred widely for side sleepers, athletes and some back sleepers. The Harvest Pillow Top is also available in a Vegan option as well. In the vegan version Harvest Green will replace the wool layer with material with their all natural cotton. This slight alteration does not affect the overall feel.
Hand Tufting
The Harvest Green Original and Harvest Green Pillow Top Mattresses feature distinctive, soft rosettes that are made from pure white GOTS certified organic wool. Hand-tufting is unique as it is hand applied and adds more assembly time and skill. This assists substantially in preventing dips and valleys that are very common in everyday mattresses. Its best attribute is that it allows Harvest Green yet another opportunity to eliminate nasty adhesive chemicals to their sleep set. The tufting acts as the bond that keeps the layers from shifting or bunching. Most of today’s typical mattresses rely on commercial adhesives to bond layers together. The Harvest Essentials Mattress does not use Hand Tufting as it features a single layer of Latex.
Response System
Harvest Green’s mattresses feature the very best in both support and individualized coil comfort. Their posturized response comfort unit provides a consistent level of support to the edge. Their unit is 26% more durable than foam cores and bends 24% easier, making it perfect for adjustable bases. This advanced unit also reduces or eliminates the feeling of roll-off. The best part about it is the fact that it is constructed from 95% recycled scrap steel making it eco-friendly. The Response Coil Systems are produced in Harvest Green’s factories firsthand. Adjusting Handles
You will never need to flip your new Harvest Original or Harvest Pillow Top Mattresses. However, you will find these handles to come in handy when changing sheets or turning it. The Harvest Essentials Mattress does not use handles as it is substantially lighter in weight and much more manageable.
